The Kalispell area is beautiful. I think the thing that I liked about it most was the mix of farm land, water and mountains. After Kalispell, I headed west to Sandpoint. It was also an interesting town and nice area with lots of water. So far there has been a lot of water on this trip, but only one shower of rain. I stayed on another little pond that was very convienently located near a day use area. I went on a trail run! I decided that I had better get motivated for the San Fran 1/2 since it's only one month away. It was so nice to be out running on dirt in the nice cool air.
