We had a great time over Mother's Day weekend. The weather was nice - wow! We went white water rafting with Pete on Sat. He's demonstrating the proper way to swim down the river. Luckily, no one in our boat fell out. In fact, the only person who did fall out was Alex, but he was being a cowboy and was trying to make things more exciting for himself. Good thing he was the one who paid for that decision because his passengers were pretty freaked out. We all went out on Sat night and recapped the day with a few spirits. I can't keep up with Mom - I got the whoosey genes. Dad decided he'd check out my baggie trick. It didn't keep my feet dry, but it was quite warm.
We went to Jacksonville on Sun and walked around. I usually just ride thorugh so it was nice to check it out a bit. Then off to the coast on Monday. The weather was perfect there too. We went for a short hike in the redwoods and checked out the light house in Cresent City. Overall, it was a fun weekend. Thanks for coming to see me Mom, Dad and Holly!
